VéloColour – The beauty is in the details
VéloColour is a custom painting shop based in Toronto, owned and run by Noah Rosen. When Eric suggested I look it up, for a potential custom track frame projet, I really liked, heck loved, what I saw.
VéloColour, as a local and small one-man operation, directly falls within the kind of business I like to support. However, it does not only comply with my values, but also with my taste. The paint jobs by Noah Rosen are beautiful and you can really see he pays extra attention to details.
As I was researching more about VéloColour, I found out Rosen has a background in fine arts, like I do, and more specifically in ceramics, like I do as well. This just made me like the whole thing a lot more, as I related to his experience. I also think ceramics is awesome and very underrated as an art form and I get really excited when I see other people who love that medium.
More technically (and bike related, ha!), Rosen learned his craft from Mike Barry (Bicycle Specialties) and VéloColour is an authorized Cervélo painter, which means if you get your Cervélo custom painted by Rosen it won’t affect your warranty. That’s cool.
