So this is us.
We’ve been talking quite a bit about people from the Montreal cycling community, but we haven’t really talked about us yet. We felt it was time for y’all to know more about Eric and I. We asked a friend of ours, Bianca Des Jardins, to take a few pictures of us. Major props to her for managing my usual extreme awkwardness around cameras. See, I’m normally the one behind it!
I am bachelor graduate in Fine Arts from Concordia University. I currently works as a Web writer for a media company, but I wish I were a novelist or a sculptor instead. Obviously, biking has an important place in my life. As for the type of rider I am, I definitely fall into the commuter category. My bike is my car, I ride it pretty much everyday. I’ve tried my hand at racing, but it’s not exactly my type. Heck, my motto is ”better late, than never”, that tells a lot about me. Ha!
Eric is a philosophy student at Université de Montréal. Like most, he has a part-time job to pay his bills (and bikes). Someday, he’d like to become a teacher. Spreading knowledge makes him feel great. The idea of this blog stemmed from his passion for bicycles and for sharing. Chat de ruelle means Alley Cat in french, which represent the type of bike race he likes the most, of course, and his love for cats.
