Return of the Fat Chance?
If you’re into mountain biking you probably know about Fat Chance. Today still, their frames and forks are highly sought after. The company, created by Chris Chance in 1982, closed it’s doors in 1994. It’s iconic model, the Yo Eddy, is one of the most legendary and collectable mountain bike frameset ever.
There seems to be a increasing trend about hard tail mountain biking with Surly and others. There are a lot of different types of MTBs present today, from fat bikes to 29ers to all-terrain, enduro to downhill, and even single-speed or fixed gear vintage mountain bike. I’m actually working on a vintage Marinoni MTB myself.
So why am I talking about the iconic Fat Chances? Well, there is a new Instagram account talking about a comeback of Chris Chance and Fat Chance. This is huge news for fans all around.
