Eric’s On-One Il-Pompino
Bought from a bike-polo player who bought it from another polo player from England, this On-One Il-Pompino is now in our hands. It has seen better days, obviously, and comes with a lot of chips and scratches, rust and missing paint, one dent and something of a slightly bent chain stay (now repaired), but it will endure.
Featuring wide clearances for fat tyres and cantilever studs, this frameset will assure a great range of options to build it up. Hooked up with an Alpina CX fork and Nitto x Fairweather Bullmoose bars, this bike features the perfect fit in between comfort with risers on something close to a do-it-all shred sled.
Not just a machine made to ride the wintery days, this bike will see a bunch of different setups for different activities. With the possibility to have as a single-speed mountain bike, a fixed gear snow commuting machine, a SSCX rig, and probably a travel bike (if we ever try fixed gear or single speed touring, that said), this bike will see its fair share of road.
