Eric’s Cannondale Track
This old piece of beloved hand-crafted in the USA aluminum has been through rain, a bit of snow, many 200+k rides, a couple of alleycats, a couple of wins and a DFL, a couple of crash (and one serious, resulting a in scarred face and a broken fork, now replaced by a custom identical one), a couple of close-calls, an enormous amounts of fun, shitload of ascended and descended hills, more than my fair share of red lights burned and countless jealous eyes rolling over it. Victim of my passion, she has been relentlessely pushed to it’s limits, or, hmmm, my limits because she’s more valorous than me. And that’s only my riding. It’s got 20+ of those years behind it’s welds, and she is taking it beautifully. I have, for the moment, decided in not-restoring her, instead opting to adore her life and it’s meaning. Sure, her conditions of existence started from a velodrome and now is mostly in the street, but she is meant to be ridden! And that is what she will be used for.
It’s also the best opportunity to present you our flickr, check out the rest of the shots here.
